Step Solution was founded in Miami, FL in early 2019 by Carlos Mendez and Joel Ruiz. The idea of creating a solution for moldings comes from the genuine need of one of the partners to install vinyl flooring in his home. Unable to find any options in the market for his stairs, they decided to develop a solution for this particular case, achieving incredible results. Seeing what they had accomplished, they realized that many other people could be facing the same prob- lem. Joel, with over 15 years of experience in the wood and vinyl flooring business, and Carlos, with over 10 years dedicated to CNC design and manufacturing, decided to patent this pro- cess they had developed, thus giving birth to Step Solution.

Since its founding, Step Solution has been tirelessly dedicated to solving every problem. At the beginning, they only produced vinyl stair noses, but now Step Solution has become a business that produces all types of moldings and transition pieces for engineered wood, vinyl, and lami- nate floors, making it a leader in the molding market in South Florida.
