Vinyl Floors, General Conditions

  1. Step Solution is not responsible for finished products (planks) left in our facilities 7 days after the order is completed and notified to the customer.

  2. Due to the nature of the product manufacturing process (planks), Step Solution can consume up to 10% extra planks of each order due to the calibration of the machinery.

  3. The measurement that is taken as a guide for vinyl floors is standardized, however, it can vary depending on the thickness of the floor.

  4. The clients are solely responsible for calculating the number of steps and planks required for their stairs projects.

  5. Lead time for a regular order (between 16 and 24 planks) of stair noses or moldings for vinyl floors is about 3 business days.

  6. Step Solution works with most of the brands available on the market, however, some vinyl floors cannot be intervened using our industrial folding process. In this case, Step Solution refunds 100% of the value of the order issued and paid, as well as the planks received from the client.

  7. Vinyl floor planks are usable by up to 90% considering the total size of each plank, however, it is possible that the corners of a particular plank may present some imperfections, due to the side closure system of the plank.

  8. Some folded angles may have a tolerance of ± 3 degrees.

  9. Step Solution does not have a refund policy for vinyl planks, except for warranty reasons. Wood Floors General Conditions

  1. Step Solution is not responsible for finished products (planks) left in our facilities 7 days after the order is completed and notified to the customer.

  2. Lead time for a regular order of wood floors (between 70 and 150 linear feet) is about 5 business days.

  3. The clients are solely responsible for calculating the number of linear feet required in their stairs project.

  4. Internal standardized measurements of wood floors may vary according to the thickness of the floor; our standard measurements are calculated based on the outer side of each plank.

  5. Step Solution works with most of the brands available on the market, however, some wood floors cannot be intervened using our industrial folding process. In this case, Step Solution refunds 100% of the value of the order issued and paid, as well as the planks received from the client.

  6. Step Solution does not have a refund policy for vinyl planks, except for warranty reasons. There is no refund of money for those orders that have been completed in regular conditions and are free of manufacturing defects.

Rush Orders

  1. The express “Rush order” service only applies to regular orders of maximum 30 planks for vinyl floors, and the lead time is 24 hours once the customers planks have been received at our facilities.

  2. The working hours of the express “Rush Order” service are from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.

  3. The express “rush order” service does not apply to delivery orders, the planks must be brought by the client to the Step Solution facilities and picked up 24 hours later.

  4. The express “rush order” service for wood floors has a lead time of 48 hours for orders less than 150 linear feet.

Special Orders

  1. The customer is solely responsible for providing a schematic or detailed drawing when special measurements are required for their stair project.

  2. Special measurements on vinyl and wood floors have a tolerance of ⅛ inch from the measurements provided by the client.

  3. For orders with special measurements, the lead time may vary depending on the volume of work of Step Solution.

  4. If a special order also includes the “Rush order” service, the lead time for vinyl floors is 48 hours once the Customer planks are received at our facilities; in the case of wood floors the lead time is 72 hours for orders less than 150 linear feet.

Warranty

  1. Step Solution offers a plank replacement warranty once it has been determined that the part failed due to defects in the Step Solution process and not due to board quality issues and/or installation defects. Step

    Solution offers a one-time plank replacement warranty for manufacturing defects in Step Solution.

  2. The warranty is valid for one (1) year; to validate the warranty, the client must have their purchase receipt or order number and must fill out the warranty claim form explaining the problem with the finished product.

  3. The warranty applies only for reasons of the manufacturing process of Step Solution and does not cover, in any case, the cost of the planks or the installation. If applicable, the customer must supply some, or all

    the planks, to Step Solution to issue a new customer service order.

  4. The client is responsible for delivering the planks to Step Solution and then picking them up. Step Solution will not provide transportation services in cases where the warranty applies.

  5. Step Solution will not be responsible for any installation costs, under any circumstances.

  6. When applying the warranty on a piece with special measurements, the client will deliver the plank to Step Solution to issue the service order and replicate it exactly.
